A Fevered Sleep/Fuel production: The Forest runs 9 - 24 December The Maria

A thrilling new performance combining dance, images, sound and light from the creators of Brilliant and And the Rain Falls Down.

There is a place at the very heart of the forest. A place where things are not quite what they seem. People become animals, birds become music, wood becomes water, leaves become light.

Everything changes (can you hear it?), everything moves (can you see it?).

It's all around you. It's full of adventure. It's the forest.

Young Vic associate company, Fevered Sleep, have a reputation for making sensational work for young audiences. They are best known for their acclaimed trilogy of work exploring everyday rituals as extraordinary creative events; Brilliant (bedtime), And the Rain Falls Down (water and bath time) and Feast Your Eyes (food and mealtime). Brilliant was nominated for the ‘Best Show for Children and Young People' TMA award 2008.

The Forest has been commissioned by the Lyric Hammersmith.

The Forest will be directed and choreographed by David Harradine & Sam Butler, with design by Ali Beale, David Harradine & Sam Butler, lighting by Hansjörg Schmidt and music by Jamie McCarthy.
