The Daily Mail has reported that the National Theatre's production of Hedda Gabler, starring Ruth Wilson as the titular character, is currently being considered for a run on the West End.
The revival, directed by Tony Award-winner, Ivo Van Hove, has been playing to packed houses at the Lyttelton Theatre. Sources say the plans for the transfer, however, are hinging on Wilson's schedule.
The Daily Mail reports that Wilson's representatives and the National Theatre are She and her representatives are trying to find a "three-month window of opportunity in her schedule. But it needs to tie in with her collaborators - director van Hove, plus co-stars Rafe Spall, Kyle Soller, Chukwudi Iwuji and Sinead Matthews - and an opening at a theatre."
