Kids Week, the annual London theatre initiative, returns for the whole of August 2016, with more than 35 shows offering free tickets for children.

Now in its 19th year, Kids Week encourages young people to experience the magic of live theatre. During Kids Week one child aged 16 or under can go free to a wide range of participating shows when accompanied by an adult paying full price. In addition two extra children can go for half price and there are no booking, postage or transaction fees.

Kids Week also has a fantastic range of free activities and events. Under 5s can travel to the deep dark wood for tea with The Gruffalo or enjoy fun activities with The Tiger Who Came To Tea. For older children, there is the chance to perform choreography from the hit musicals Beautiful - The Carole King Musical and American Idiot, go backstage with 1984 and meet the current cast or learn the art of illusion with the star magicians of Impossible.

The full Kids Week activity listings can be found at www.kidsweek.co.uk

Additionally, Kids Week ticket holders will be able to take advantage of a number of Kids Go Free deals on dining, tours and workshops. More information can be found on the Kids Week website.
