West End 'Avenue Q' Extends thru September 2008

Avenue Q has extended its booking at the Noel Coward Theatre until September 28, 2008.  Tickets are now on sale for a new extended booking period.

Avenue Q arrived in London's West End in June 2006, and has, since then, been a hugely popular hit with audiences. Proving a big draw with young audiences, the show has bucked trends in the West End and is fast becoming a lasting fixture and winning a series of awards along the way, including: the Variety Club Award for Best Musical, and Best Ensemble Performance in the Whats On Stage, Theatregoers Awards 2007.

Due to popular demand, the show has extended its booking period until September 28th 2008.  Weekday ticket pricing has been a huge success and will remain between £10 - £35, with a limited number of premium seats at £55.

Embracing youth culture through regular TV appearances, You Tube, MySpace, Bluetooth Marketing and the new Mobile Phone ticketing system, Avenue Q is proving that there is a young market for a West End Musical.

Avenue Q has music and lyrics by Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx, book by Jeff Whitty, based on an original concept by Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx; and directed by Jason Moore.

Avenue Q has puppets conceived and designed by Rick Lyon; musical supervision by Stephen Oremus, and choreography by Ken Roberson.  AVENUE Q's scenic design is by Anna Louizos, costume design by Mirena Rada, lighting design by Howell Binkley, and sound design by Acme Sound Partners.

Avenue Q is produced in London by Kevin McCollum, Robyn Goodman, Jeffrey Seller, Vineyard Theatre, The New Group and Cameron Mackintosh.

Performance Times: Monday – Thursday 8pm, Friday 5.30pm and 8.30pm, Saturday 5.30pm and 8.30pm; The performance lasts approx 2hrs 15 mins (including a 15 min interval).

Prices: Monday - Thursday at 8pm, Friday at 5.30PM are £10, £20, £30, £35 (Premium Seats at £55)
Friday at 8.30pm & Saturday 5.30pm and 8.30pm are £10, £20, £35, £50 (Premium Seats at £60). Exclusion weeks apply
