Andrew Lloyd Webber and The Really Useful Group will support the NSPCC at the November 13th preview of the London revival of The Sound of Music. Funds raised on the evening will go towards the NSPCC's Stop Organised Abuse Appeal.
The Sound of Music, starring "How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria" winner Connie Fisher as Maria, directed by Jeremy Sams and produced by Webber, will open on November 15th at the London Palladium. It begins previews on November 3rd.
Webber has generously made the entire Royal Circle available to the NSPCC for the November 13th preview of The Sound of Music. NSPCC supporters who have purchased tickets to the event will be treated to a champagne reception and ice cream during the interval, served in the Palladium's beautiful Cinderella bar, and will receive a special show programme.
There will also be a raffle and bucket collection on the evening to raise money for the Appeal.The money raised at this event is going towards an inspirational and vital appeal: to Stop Organised Abuse. This appeal supports ten Specialist Investigation teams, who work alongside the Police and other partner agencies to investigate allegations of organised abuse and protect children from harm.
