WICKED, the "West End phenomenon" (The Sunday Telegraph) at London's Apollo Victoria Theatre, is proud to announce its fifth annual WICKED DAY, a free day of family fun that celebrates the show and raises funds for environmental causes in and around the local community.

This year's WICKED DAY event will take place at London's St Pancras International on Sunday 31 October between 12 noon and 4pm. WICKED DAY will feature a host of WICKED and Halloween-themed events throughout the station including live performances from cast members, face-painting, workshops and a range of activities suitable for people of all ages.

All proceeds from WICKED DAY 2010 will be donated to the funding of a project between WICKED and the Woodland Trust in support of the charity's "More Trees More Good" Heartwood Forest Appeal, currently planting England's largest new continuous native forest near St Albans. WICKED and the Woodland Trust will work alongside London Wildlife Trust's Camley Street Natural Park and St Pancras International's chosen charity - New Horizon Youth Centre in Kings Cross - to engage, encourage and enable young people to interact with the natural environment both on their doorsteps and outside of London at Heartwood Forest.

Last year's WICKED DAY fundraised in aid of Magic 105.4 and their Cash for Kids charity, with all proceeds going towards the building of a community garden in a disadvantaged area of London. The cast of WICKED recently visited the Ebury Estate for a tour of the garden and to meet some of the volunteers involved in its development over the past year.

Michael McCabe, Executive Producer of WICKED in London, said: "We are very proud to continue using our 'green' theme to champion and support environmental causes. This year we are particularly pleased to confirm that all proceeds from WICKED DAY will go to The Woodland Trust in support of their unprecedented national tree-planting campaign "More Trees More Good", encouraging and helping people to plant trees anywhere and everywhere. With WICKED's themes of taking responsibility for your own actions, there could not be a more fitting legacy for the show"
St Pancras International has an on-going calendar of arts, cultural and event activity that continues to enhance its status as Europe's Destination Station and provide people with a reason to visit whether they are getting on a train or not.

Paul Chapman, Managing Director of High Speed 1 Ltd, the owners of St Pancras International said: "St Pancras International is one of a kind - a place where surprising things happen. We are delighted to be hosting WICKED DAY 2010 and thrilled that this fun day for all the family can go to supporting and benefiting charities at the very heart of our local community"
