As seen on London Live TV's hit docu-soap Drag Queens of London and fresh from a critically acclaimed nationwide tour, nationally-acclaimed stage show Viva la Drag! returns to the West End for a limited run.

Directed by William Baker, creative director to Kylie Minogue, featuring songs especially composed by Boy George, starring Sam Buttery from TV's The Voice, the hit-packed production plays the Leicester Square Theatre for three nights beginning Thursday, June 26.

Both Vicki Vivacious and Silver Summers -- two of the members of all-male/female close harmony group the Supreme Fabulettes which stars in Viva la Drag! -- are lead characters on TV in Drag Queens of London. The series runs every Tuesday at 10pm on London Live (Sky, Virgin, Freeview and Youview).

Viva la Drag! charts the rise from rags to the queens of drag of an all-girl close-harmony group. . . with a difference, says show promoter Michael Taylor.

"It's an outrageous party night out to die for," says Michael. "Perfect for guys and girls, it packs in more hit songs than any other production featuring more hits than you can bat a set of oversized lashes at."

Glee-style mash ups blend number one hits with current chart toppers including: I'm Every Woman, Baby Love, Proud Mary, Rolling in the Deep, Gimme Gimme Gimme, Car Wash, Rehab, We Are Family, Born This Way, Survivor, Single Ladies, Signed Sealed Delivered, Diamonds, Crazy in Love, Man I Feel Like a Woman, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun and many more.

The fast-moving production boasts an impressive A-List creative team including director William Baker, musical directors Steve Anderson (Kylie Minogue, Leona Lewis, Susan Boyles), John Themis (MD to Boy George and No1 hit songwriter for the Sugarbabes, Emma Bunton); Terry Ronald, writer and vocal arranger to Girls Aloud and Danni Minogue, with costume design by Stevie Stewart of famed world tours such a Britney's Circus Tour, Girls Aloud's Reunion Tour and Kylie Minogue's Aphrodite Tour.

The party-packed score is performed by "one hell of an all-male girl group" - The Stage Newspaper - as the plot of Viva la Drag! sees the "girl" group's razor-tongued manager, played by Miss Sheila Simmonds, navigate band splits and solo hits against a backdrop of backstabbing, love and tears played for laughs by four of the UK's top drag artistes: Vicki Vivacious, Vanilla Lush, Portia De Fosse and Silver Summers.

It's an evening of glitz, hits, dance and kitsch," promises Michael.

Viva la Drag! is at the Leicester Square Theatre tonight, June 26; Friday, June 27, and Saturday, June 28 at 7.30pm each night. Tickets are £20, with premium seats available for £25. To buy tickets call the box office 0844 873 3433 or you can buy online at leicestersquaretheatre.com.
