VIVA FOREVER! To Close On June 29

Media outlets are reporting that Viva Forever!, the Spice Girls musical with book by Jennifer Saunders, will be closing on June 29.

The show, produced by Judy Craymer, has run up losses which haven't been recouped from ticket sales.

It will close at the Piccadilly Theatre at the end of next month.

Leading the cast of Viva Forever! are Sally Ann Triplett and West End newcomer Hannah John-Kamen, who play Lauren and Viva, the mother and daughter roles which are right at the heart of the musical.

Viva Forever! is a romantic comedy that tells the story of a family thrown into chaos, as Viva (played by Hannah) and her three best friends (Luce played by Siobhan Athwal, Diamond by Lucy Phelps and Holly by Dominique Provost-Chalkley) get swept up in a TV talent show where stars are born and dreams are shattered.
