On Friday 18 May, some of London's leading headshot photographers will be holding the first Portrait Marathon day at the Umbrella Rooms in London, in an effort to raise funds for the It's My Life Trust Fund. Members of the public are invited to join them for a fun, informal portrait in exchange for a donation. Watch the video!

Event organiser Adam Hills (of MUG Photography) said: "It's a special charity to me - I've got a three-year-old daughter with cerebral palsy, so we've seen first-hand the excellent work they do."

When she was 18 months old, he and his wife Sarah found out their daughter Esme had right-sided Hemiplegia, a form of cerebral palsy. It affects her balance, co-ordination and stability, and the muscles in her leg and arm are spastic, causing toe walking and tension.

The prognosis for Esme is good, as she has a very mild condition. But through Esme's treatment, Adam and Sarah found It's My Life Trust Fund, a charity that specialises in treating children with cerebral palsy - and a lot of the children there have much more demanding needs.

Adam decided to start Portraits4Palsy in a bid to use his skills in a way that could help the It's My Life Trust Fund to be able to continue offering weekly sessions, holiday camps, equipment and advice to families in need of help and guidance.

The photographers shooting on the day alongside Adam are Robin Savage, Emma Bullivant, Michael Shelford, Jennie Scott, Michael Wharley, Nicholas Dawkes, Rocco Redondo & Pete Bartlett.
