Guinness in on alert: in an attempt to be crowned the largest-ever "Time Warp" dance, cast members and crew of the current U.K touring production will join Channel 4's ‘The Paul O'Grady Show' on October 31 hoping to shatter the current world record.

The event will take place on Oct. 31 at Brighton's Old Paddling Pool, on the East Side of the West Pier. It will be filmed for later release.

A call for participants has also been released. The TV show is looking for "1500 frivolous fans to simultaneously pelvic-thrust their way into the Guinness Book of Records." To register, visit www.rockyhorror.co.uk/worldrecord.

Richard O'Brien's current U.K tour has also added new dates. Stops are set for Bromley's Churchill Theatre, Woking's New Victoria, Brighton's Theatre Royal, Birmingham Hippodrome, Liverpool Empire, Windsor's Theatre Royal, Glasgow's Kings Theatre, Grimsby Auditorium and Manchester's Palace Theatre between October 12 and December 12, and then resume Jan. 18, 2010, visiting Southampton's Mayflower, Darford's Orchard, Bradford's Alhambra, Malvern Theatre, Leicester's De Montford Hall, Wolverhampton's Grand, Torquay's Princess Theatre, Cardiff's New Theatre, Sheffield's Lyceum, Belfast's Opera House and Edinburgh's Playhouse, through June 2010.
