U.K Makes it Illegal to Post Misleading Pull Quotes

The European Union has created a new statute that makes it illegal for theatres to pull critics quotes in order to mislead the public about a shows reviews. The law falls under the consumer protection regulations that are designed to protect consumers form aggressive and misleading advertisers.

If a theatre operator if found guilty of misleading the audience they can be fined up to 9,900 pounds or two years in jail.
