"CHICAGO" will celebrate its 5000th performance in London on Wednesday 18 November and, due to its ongoing success, the show has now extended its booking period until 30 October 2010. "CHICAGO" has repeatedly won critical acclaim and wowed audiences for its panache and sexiness.

"CHICAGO" now stars Emma Clifford as ‘Roxie Hart', who makes her West End debut, having previously played the role in an international tour. Amra-Faye Wright returns to the Cambridge to star as ‘Velma Kelly', a role she recently played with enormous success on Broadway and to international acclaim on tour. Ian Kelsey, star of "Emmerdale" and "Blue Murder" continues in his role as ‘Billy Flynn' and David Ganly stars ‘Amos Hart'.

"CHICAGO" opened at the Adelphi Theatre on 18 November 1997 to rave reviews and immediately became a sell-out hit. "CHICAGO" won the 1998 Laurence Olivier Award for 'Outstanding Musical Production' as well as the 1998 Critics Circle Drama Award for 'Best Musical'. "CHICAGO" transferred from the Adelphi Theatre to the Cambridge Theatre in April 2006. Currently playing in New York, Australia, Denmark and on tour both in the UK and US, with forthcoming productions in Japan, Korea, Holland and Spain, "CHICAGO" is produced in London by the Broadway producers Barry and Fran Weissler.

"CHICAGO", which is based on the play by Maurine Dallas Watkins, has a book by Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse, music by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb. "CHICAGO" is choreographed by Ann Reinking in the style of Bob Fosse and directed by Walter Bobbie. The West End production of "CHICAGO" is staged by the entire original Broadway creative team.

Tickets for "CHICAGO", priced from £25.00 - £59.00, are available from the Cambridge Theatre Box Office on 0844 412 4652. Performance times at the Cambridge Theatre are Mondays to Thursdays at 8.00pm, with Friday performances at 5.00pm and 8.30pm and Saturday performances at 3.00pm and 8.00pm.
