The Tricycle, in collaboration with Platform youth hub, present His Story: Daniel Kaluuya on 1 December at 6pm at the Tricycle Cinema. His Story, Her Story is a question and answer event where an industry guest is interviewed by young people for young people aged 13 to 25 years old.
The event is a chance for young people to ask their questions about Kaluuya's career, creative process, hear his industry knowledge and find out how he has got to where he is today.
Kaluuya is a British Ugandan actor and writer. He is best known for his roles in Get Out, Sicario, Kick Ass 2, Black Mirror, and Skins-for which he also wrote several episodes. He will be appearing in Marvel's eagerly anticipated Black Panther, due for release in 2018.
Axa Hynes, Tricycle's Creative Learning Manager said today "This is an exciting launch of the Tricycle's new Q+A programme exclusively for young people, which will bring artists and the young people together in the same space. Daniel has been through an incredible journey in his career and we hope his story will inspire the next generation of theatre creatives, filmmakers and performers."
Indhu Rubasingham, Tricycle's Artistic Director said today: "I am really pleased our Creative Learning team are doing yet another exciting event for young people, which will warm up our venue for our reopening in spring. I am really proud of their achievements - delivering so many projects in and around Brent to encourage young people to get involved in our work."
