The day after Tito Jackson, Marlon Jackson and Jackie Jackson - three legendary original members of the Jackson 5 group - flew in from the USA to see "Thriller - Live", the hit West End show today anounces that it is extending its booking period by five months to Sunday May 9, 2010 due to phenomenal public demand.

The spectacular, high-octane West End concert, specially created to celebrate the career of the world's greatest entertainer and undisputed "King of Pop", Michael Jackson and the Jackson 5, toured the UK and Europe for two years before opening in London's West End on Wednesday January 21, 2009 following previews from Friday January 2.

Some changes have been made to the show in the light of Michael Jackson's passing earlier this year. The show now opens on a moving tribute, "Gone Too Soon" and in the very near future the production will feature a new high energy number "They Don't?Care About?Us", and enhanced and reworked choreoraphy.

Two additional companies have set out on a 9-month tour of Germany, Spain, Finland, Denmark, Poland and Holland and a spectacular 10-date UK arena tour in November/December 2009. Australian, Russian, Chinese and American dates are also being planned for 2010.

In "Thriller - Live", the non-stop hits just keep on coming from "I Want You Back", "I'll Be There", "Show You The Way To Go", "Can You Feel It", "Rock With You", "She's Out Of My Life", "Thriller", "Beat It", "ABC", "Man in the Mirror", "Dirty Diana", "Billie Jean", and many, many more. To bring to life on stage the distinctive high-energy dancing and pulsating sound of many of pop's greatest hits, "Thriller - Live" blends eye-popping video footage and effects together with dazzling choreography by the show's award-winning director Gary Lloyd, who has previously worked with Leona Lewis, Will Young, Gareth Gates, Emma Bunton, Robbie Williams, Pink, Anastacia, Lemar; Rachel Stevens, Kelly Clarkson and Girls Aloud. "Thriller - Live" was originally conceived and created by Executive Director of the show, AdrIan Grant, a long time associate of Michael Jackson, and author of ‘Michael Jackson - The Visual Documentary'.

In a phenomenal, unparalleled career, Michael Jackson sold more than 750 million records, had 13 number one singles - more than any other male artist - and was one of the few artists to have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice; once as a member of The Jackson 5 in 1997 and later as a solo artist in 2001. His numerous other achievements include multiple Guinness World Records, including one for "Thriller" as the world's best-selling album of all time - 100 million copies and counting. An early star of MTV and the art of making pop videos, Michael broke down racial barriers, transformed the art of the music video and paved the way for modern pop music.

Thriller Live is produced by Paul Walden and Derek Nicol for Flying Music in association with AdrIan Grant for Key Concerts.  It is currently running at the West End's Lyric Theatre.  For more information and tickets, visit www.thrillerlive.com.
