Theatrical Rights Worldwide Opens UK and Ireland Office

Theatrical Rights Worldwide (TRW) have just announced the opening of their UK office on Regent Street, London.

After 12 hugely successful years based in New York, TRW's presence in London will lead to shorter response times for customers in the UK and Ireland, the ability to pay in Pounds and Euros, as well as an increase in show selection. All of this offered by a dedicated and passionate UK team.

TRW's shows include Grease, Spamalot, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, and Memphis, which they license to amateur companies and schools, as well as professionals. They also offer Young@Part editions, which are 65-70 minute editions of Broadway musicals rewritten for youth theatres and schools. These reworking's are tailor made for younger actors, with song keys changed where needed, songs and scenes edited for time and content, while keeping the spirit of the original show intact.

Drew Baker also tantalisingly said TRW were developing "something exciting" for the UK theatre scene but that he could not reveal any more at this point.
