The King's Head Theatre is pleased to present, for one night only, THE SEAGULL by Anton Chekov as part of its 2010 season. Come and witness this weeks attempt to create a detailed and dynamic, never to be heard again, improvised translation of Chekhov's masterpiece.

The Factory tell their version of this great story in the words that arrive in their heads at each moment, relating the dialogue to what they are being thrown by each other and the environment they find themselves in.

THE SEAGULL is, "as unforgettable and moving as any theatre I've seen" according to The Guardian and, "not just verging on but actually accomplishing genius," according to Spoonfed.

THE SEAGULL will be performed on Sunday February 21st at 6:30 PM and tickets will be £10
NOTE: As The Factory shall bring nothing with them, including sets, costume or props, you may be asked to lend some of your personal possessions for use in the show.

Alongside what you may already have about your person the company will be looking for; a romantic novel, a literary magazine, fishing gear, an addictive substance, breakfast, a game for six people, and a Seagull. If you have anything close please bring it along.

On September 16, 2008 the Walter Kerr Theatre on Broadway began previews of Ian Rickson's production of THE SEAFULL with Kristin Scott Thomas reprising her role as Arkadina. The cast also included Peter Sarsgaard as Trigorin, Mackenzie Crook as Konstantin, Art Malik as Dorn, Carey Mulligan as Nina, Zoe Kazan as Masha, and Ann Dowd as Polina.
