The Ensemblist Launches 'The Ensemblist West End' Blog  Image

The Ensemblist, Broadway's leading advocate for ensemble actors, announces the launch of "The Ensemblist West End": http://www.theensemblist.com/west-end/

Helmed by Alyn Hawke, ensemble member of 42nd Street on the West End, the new blog presence attempts to give a voice to the talented artists in the ensembles of West End musicals.

New posts on The Ensemblist West End include a candid chat with Maria Garrett, James-Royden Lyley and Josephina Camble, members of the biggest ensemble in West End history, 42nd Street, Les Miserables ensemblist Hannah Grace Lawson on making her West End debut, as well as the true story of actor Steph Parry leaving the ensemble of a show mid-performance to star in Mamma Mia! next door.

The Ensemblist is an online advocate for the talent artists working in theatre ensembles on Broadway and across the country. The Ensemblist has an active social media presence with over 23,000 Instagram and Twitter followers and more than 750,000 podcast downloads.

Since launching in 2013, The Ensemblist has released more than 150 podcast episodes, helmed "The Broadway Ensembles" panel at BroadwayCon, released a yearly "State of the Ensemblist" report and honored artists with the yearly Ensemblist Awards.
