West End Wednesdays, the hugely popular promotion which offers theatre lovers half price tickets to top London shows, is to return for the whole month of November. Initially launched in July and run by TKTS, the Official London Theatre Ticket Booth, the promotion returns this winter with tickets starting from as little as £10. These brilliant bargains will only be available to buy on-the-day and in person at TKTS in Leicester Square.

Shows involved include hit new productions Great Britain at Theatre Royal Haymarket, East Is East at Trafalgar Studios, Neville's Island at the Duke of York's Theatre, and Speed-The-Plow at the Playhouse Theatre. There are tickets available for big musicals such as The Commitments at the Palace Theatre, Urinetown The Musical at the Apollo Theatre, Forbidden Broadway at the Vaudeville Theatre, and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels The Musical, at the Savoy Theatre. Also taking part are the much-loved plays The Play That Goes Wrong at the Duchess Theatre, The Woman In Black at the Fortune Theatre, Ghost Stories at the Arts Theatre, and The 39 Steps at the Criterion Theatre.

Established in 1980 and originally called the 'Official Half Price Ticket Booth', the Society of London Theatre's only ticket booth has been offering safe and secure ticket services to both Londoners and tourists alike for over 30 years. Changing its name to TKTS in 2001 to match its New York counterpart, the booth has not only continued to offer some of the best discounts in town, it's grown to offer tickets to all the major productions across the capital with shows selling at a variety of prices.

As a not for profit organisation, all proceeds made at TKTS are invested straight back into theatre through the many charitable organisations that are part of, or associated with, the Society of London Theatre. In addition to this, the unique operation of the booth ensures that customers are given unbiased information about all the shows available to them and all ticket sales are made following the STAR (the Society of Ticket Agents and Retailers) code of practice.

West End Wednesdays begins on 5 November and will run for four consecutive weeks. Half price tickets for the shows involved will go on sale at 10:00 each Wednesday at the TKTS booth in Leicester Square. Full details are available at the TKTS website, www.TKTS.co.uk.
