From 10 January 2011 Susan McFadden will play the leading role of Elle Woods in the West End hit Legally Blonde The Musical. McFadden, an original member of the Legally Blonde cast who as well as playing the role Serena - one of Elle's sorority sisters - has also been wowing audiences as the show's alternate Elle since October. She joins Denise Van Outen, Alex Gaumond, Siobhan Dillon, Aoife Mulholland, Carley Stenson, Simon Thomas and Peter Davison in Legally Blonde The Musical which is currently booking until 22 October 2011 at the Savoy Theatre where it has been playing to packed houses since it opened in December 2009.

Susan McFadden played Sandy in Grease at the Piccadilly Theatre after winning the opportunity beating thousands of hopefuls on ITV1's reality show Grease is the Word. Her other theatre credits include the role of Milly in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers on tour in the UK, the title roles in Cinderella at the Theatre Royal Wakefield and the Gaiety Theatre, Dublin and Annie at the Olympia Theatre Dublin. Her other Dublin Theatre credits include Jack and the Beanstalk, Singin' in the Rain and Dance of Desire. She has been seen on television in Relative Strangers and Bachelors Walk, both on RTE.
