As SEUSSICAL returns to the Arts Theatre this Christmas, Sell a Door Theatre Company just announced the full cast. Ste Clough takes on the role of Horton the Elephant (played, last year, by David Hunter) with Elliot Fitzpatrick donning the famous topper and tailcoat to play the Cat in the Hat.

Jordan Veloso plays Jojo, Shekinah McFarlane plasy the Sour Kangaroo, and Alastair Crosswell, Benjamin Vivian-Jones and Thomas Lloyd play the mischievous Wickersham Brothers.

They join returning cast members Kirsty Marie Ayers (Gertrude McFuzz), Jessica Parker (Mayzie La Bird), Amy Punter (Bird Girl), Jennifer Low (Bird Girl) and Tanya Shields (Bird Girl/Mrs Mayor).

With music and lyrics from Tony Award Winners Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens, Sell a Door Producers David Hutchinson and Phillip Rowntree are ecstatic to bring Seussical back to London's West End. Director Kirk Jameson shall take the reins this year, following the success of his recent production at London's Union Theatre, On a Clear Day You Can See Forever.

Kirk shall be joined by Musical Director George Bryan: "The genius of Dr. Seuss lies is in his simplicity. He is able to capture and communicate, without sentimentality, the complexity and beauty of the human condition." Alongside the numerous acting credits he has under belt, George is also an accomplished musician, having composed the score for a new stage version of Ibsen's Peer Gynt for Theatre Collection.

Sell a Door's Associate Designer Richard Evans returns to the creative team this year. Having designed numerous times for national tours, repertory theatre and stand-alone productions, Richard says he is "looking forward to re-connecting with the piece and exploring new avenues that were unavailable last year." A team of Assistant Designers including Natasha Dilworth, Sorcha Corcoran and Isabella Van Braeckel join him.
