The shortlist for the annual Evening Standard Theatre Awards has been announced, and it includes such theatrical heavyweights as Tom Hiddleston, Kristin Scott Thomas, Helen McCrory, Gillian Anderson and many more!

Winners will be revealed at a ceremony presented by Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon at the London Palladium on November 30, when the recipients of six special awards will also be revealed.

The shortlist is as follows:
