New Adventures and Re:Bourne present an evening of dance to celebrate the life of Jonathan Ollivier, who died tragically earlier this year before the final performance of The Car Man at Sadler's Wells. MR WONDERFUL - A CELEBRATION OF JONATHAN OLLIVIER'S LIFE IN DANCE is on MONDAY 18 JANUARY 2016 at 7.30PM at Sadler's Wells. Tickets available now from www.sadlerswells.com.

Matthew Bourne said today: "Following the tragic events of the summer many colleagues and friends from across the dance industry expressed to us a desire to come together and celebrate Jonny's life and also to provide some ongoing support to his young family. I'm thrilled that so many wonderful artists will come together in January to remember and celebrate Jonny's career through a programme of exceptional dance".

The programme will include extracts from Matthew Bourne's SWAN LAKE, THE CAR MAN and SLEEPING BEAUTY, featuring current and former principal dancers from the New Adventures company, as well as the rarely-seen MR WONDERFUL - choreographed by Matthew Bourne and last seen in 1992 as part of the 'Deadly Serious' Double Bill at The Place.

There will be performances from Northern Ballet where Jonathan danced for many years. The Rambert School, where Jonathan trained, will present HIDDEN, a duet created for the inaugural BBC Young Dancer competition. The McOnie Company will perform in celebration of Jonathan's time with the company and Kevin and Karen Clifton, from BBC1's Strictly Come Dancing, will also perform in memory of their friend.

This live programme of exceptional dance performed by world-leading dancers many of whom will be returning to the Sadler's Wells stage in Jonathan's memory will be introduced by Matthew Bourne. It will be interspersed with film clips and previously unseen footage in celebration of Jonathan's extraordinary talent and legacy.

Additional contributors to the evening will be announced over the coming weeks.

All ticket income will be placed in charitable trust funds for Jonathan's two sons Lucas, 6 and Isaac, 12 months.
