SWEET CHARITY, Starring Outhwaite And Umbers, To Close On November 6th

The Menier Chocolate Factory's production of the Tony award-winning musical, Sweet Charity, which transferred to the West End in April 2010, will complete its run on 6th November 2010.

Matthew White's critically-acclaimed production, which originally opened at the Chocolate Factory in November last year, has a cast led by Tamzin Outhwaite, Mark Umbers, Josefina Gabrielle, Tiffany Graves and Paul J Medford.

With book by Neil Simon, music by Cy Coleman and lyrics by Dorothy Fields, choreography is by Stephen Mear, set design by Tim Shortall, costume design by Matthew Wright, musical supervision and direction by Nigel Lilley, orchestrations by Chris Walker, lighting by David Howe and sound design by Gareth Owen.

Sweet Charity follows the misadventures of love encountered by the gullible and guileless Charity Hope Valentine, a woman who always gives her heart and her dreams to the wrong man. Cy Coleman's score features favourite hits such as Hey, Big Spender; If My Friends Could See Me Now and The Rhythm of Life.

The full cast is Rachael Archer, Kenneth Avery-Clark, Matthew Barrow, JaCK Edwards, Josefina Gabrielle, JoAnna Goodwin, Tiffany Graves, Richard Jones, Gemma Maclean, Paul J Medford, Ebony Molina, Zak Nemorin, Tamzin Outhwaite, Alexis Owen Hobbs, Richard Roe, Annalisa Rossi, Laura Scott, Mark Umbers and Jez Unwin.
