SKYFALL Writer John Logan Says He's 'Still a Playwright'

John Logan had a big year at the box office, having written the screenplay for the critically acclaimed latest 007 installment- Skyfall, but he just revealed in a recent interview that he won't be leaving theatre anytime soon. He told the Telegraph: "I've always loved the movies, but when I wake up in the morning I'm still a playwright. Hollywood is not my world. My world is the theatre."

The Tony-winning playwright, whose most recent play, Peter and Alice, is currently playing at London's Noel Coward Theatre, continued: "With Red I was interested in the passing of a generation and the relationship between fathers and sons. With Peter and Alice, the organising principle for me in a way was: what is it to grow up? What do you gain, what do you lose? Is there a moment when you can say to yourself 'I am no longer a child'?"
