SHOUT! will get its West?End premiere at the Arts?Theatre in a 10-week season from Friday April 17 - Sunday June 28. Official press night is Wednesday April 29 at 7.30pm.

The West?End premiere of SHOUT! has been set. Director & Choreographer Bill Deamer, UK Adaptor Julie Balloo based on an original idea by Phillip George & David Lowenstein

SHOUT! is a feel-good musical packed with more than 30 of the biggest pop hits of the 60s. Celebrating the fabulous, hazy days of swinging London, it's an affectionate reminder of the time when hippies were in the news, students took part in sit-ins, the Beatles conquered the world, the first man walked on the moon, the birth of Top of the Pops, Carnaby Street, England's World Cup triumph, the Twist, incredibly short skirts, beehive hair-dos, and laughable TV ads.

Be prepared to twist and shout, shimmy and shake your way back to the carefree days of mods, mini skirts, the pill and sexual liberation as our ‘fab five' discover the fashions, freedom, fun and music that inspired original girl power.

The hits - many by Burt Bacharach and Tony?Hatch - just keep on coming... from the classic, timeless "Downtown", "Shout", "Son Of A Preacher Man", "I Only Wanna Be With You", "I?Just?Don't Know What To Do With Myself", "Wishin' and Hopin'", "You Don't Have To Say You?Love Me", "To Sir With Love" to "These Boots Are Made For Walkin'". It's a fantastic soundtrack full of catchy pop songs which made international stars of Cilla Black, Petula Clark, Lulu and Dusty Springfield.

Follow three young girls as they arrive to try their luck in the big smoke at the start of the most exciting decade ever. The cast will include Su Pollard, who received fantastic regional reviews. "The glamorous cast is led by mentor Vonnie, played by Su?Pollard, who nearly steals the show with a belting voice and comic timing par excellence" - Manchester Evening News

Whether you're an original 60s baby boomer or were born in the 90s, SHOUT! is a celebration of an era everyone wishes they could have experienced - and now you can! Ready, steady, go! It's groovy baby!
