Baggage is a story conceived by two old college friends, about two old college friends who are re-united and struggle with the online dating world. The original idea for Baggage was born in a pub. That pub, The Lansdowne remains a central part of the play as does PrimroseHill and many other facets of Mike and John's life ten years ago. The content draws to some extent on personal experience, but is largely the result of considerable research with people who have used dating sites and offered upstories, many of which are unprintable and implausible! It has long been their idea of that online dating is so much part of our lives today and so dramatic that a play, book and film are all well overdue.

The work with East 15 to develop this play has been a fascinating part of the journey for John and Mike who have utmost respect for talented actors and actresses. Whilst this play is John and Mike's first collaboration, they would both like to acknowledge the contribution by various actors from East 15, especially Simon Vause.

BAGGAGE plays tonight, 6 September – 6 October, with performances running Monday – Saturday at 8pm and matinees on Thursday & Saturday at 4pm. The press performances are set for 10/11/12 September.

Ticket prices: £15.00 to £29.50. Post Olympics Ticket Offer: Best Stall tickets for £10 on 6,7,8 September to the first bookers at each performance if booked before 1 September. Tickets can be booked on 020 7836 8463 or www.artstheatrewestend.co.uk.
