Really Useful Theatres Group (http://www.reallyusefultheatres.co.uk/) announced today that Mike Hamer has joined the London Palladium as Venue Manager.

Joining from KOKO in Camden where he has spent the last 11 years, Mike has vast experience in the live music industry. As well as his extensive venue background, he has also been involved in Glastonbury and V Festivals. Earlier in his career Mike specialised in opening new restaurants in London.

Really Useful Theatres Group Managing Director Rebecca Kane Burton, who was Vice President and GM of London's The O2 before joining Lloyd Webber's company in 2016, says "The appointment of Mike Hamer is yet another key appointment in the new music strategy for the London Palladium. We're so pleased Mike is bringing his wealth of experience to the world-famous London Palladium at such an exciting time for the venue."

Mike Hamer comments "I am thrilled to be joining the team at the London Palladium and driving the live music element forward at this iconic venue."

Really Useful Theatres Group, wholly owned by Andrew Lloyd Webber, owns and operates seven West End theatres: the London Palladium, Theatre Royal Drury Lane, Her Majesty's Theatre, New London Theatre, Cambridge Theatre and The Other Palace. The Adelphi Theatre is co-owned with Nederlander International Limited.

The theatres offer a range of auditorium sizes with seating capacities from large 2,000-plus seats to mid-sized 1,000-plus, collectively covering over 10,000 seats across the West End. The Other Palace is a creative hub for all things musical theatre, with a 300-capacity theatre and 120-capacity studio space.
