Tall Stories' hit family show Room on the Broom flies into the Lyric Theatre, Shaftesbury Avenue from 21 November 2012 until 13 January 2013, bringing a witch, her cat, a dragon, a few friendly animals and much more! Tall Stories' magical musical adaptation of the best-selling book by Children's Laureate Julia Donaldson MBE and Axel Scheffler takes audiences aboard a magnificent broom for an unforgettable adventure! Room on the Broom is on tour in the UK this autumn, before flying into the West End at Christmas, for the very first time.

Room on the Broom is aimed at ages 3 – 8 years old and is the ideal introduction to theatre for pre and primary school children and their families. Expect enchanting puppetry, sing-a-long songs and hilarious fun for everyone.

Brought to the stage by internationally acclaimed theatre company Tall Stories, the creators of the smash-hit production The Gruffalo, Room on the Broom is presented by Kenny Wax and Nick Brooke, directed by Olivia Jacobs, alongside Toby Mitchell as Creative Producer (both founders of Tall Stories), with lighting design by James Whiteside, design by Morgan Large, puppet design by Yvonne Stone and music & music design by Jon Fiber and Andy Shaw of Shock Productions.

The cast are as follows: Witch: Morag Cross, Cat: Emma MacLennan, Dog/Frog: David Garrud, Bird/Dragon: Sam Donovan, Understudy: Owen Guerin.

Join a witch and her cat as they fly happily along on their broomstick – until a Stormy wind blows the witch's hat, bow and wand away into the night!  With the help of a daft dog, a beautiful bird and a friendly frog, her belongings are retrieved.  But this broomstick's not meant for five and – CRACK! – it snaps in two!  When a hungry dragon appears, who will save the poor witch?  And will there ever be room on the broom for everyone?
