Contemporary, immersive culture is at the heart of the ROH Late taking place at the Royal Opera House on Sunday 25 November from 6pm to 9.30pm (£8 per person). The after-dark, culture-packed evening will feature exclusive live performances, with music, dance, behind-the-scenes theatre making and hip hop-led pub quizzes.
Dance theatre company Lost Dog will present a live trailer of Juliet & Romeo, Ballet Black will hold an open rehearsal of The Suit and the Magnus and the Balkanauts' band will perform promenading through the ROH foyers. Artists will create a snappy re-imagining of Verdi's opera La traviata, the Mad Hatter will host a tea party and there will be an immersive Punchdrunk-style theatrical re-imagining of Alice in Wonderland. Enjoy drinks from one of the bars, take part in a pub quiz hosted by hip hop artist Hakeem and immerse yourself in demonstrations from the Armoury Department showcasing just how they bring battles to life on the Royal Opera House stage.
