Directed by Liz Bacon and starring Alim Jayda and Matthew Mullane.
I'll Miss The Starlings by Michael Southan
Inspired by the song Get Through This by Phoenix
Directed by Paul Anthoney and starring Emma Hemmingford and Gemma Kenny.
Each writer was given a song and instructed to create a short play, of no more than 15 minutes in length, inspired by the track.
All performances will be fully captioned for deaf and hard of hearing audiences. Amplified Theatre was the first piece of theatre to use these technologies in the venue.
Amplified Theatre is a company that pioneers the fusion of live theatre and alternative music genres.
Founder and Artistic Director Stephen Lloyd says "Amplified is all about building an artistic community through creative collaboration and Six does exactly that."
Previous artists include, Stephen Collins (Reasons To Be Cheerful, Graeae), SuRie (Eurovision Song Contest), Nadeem Islam (BBC See Hear Studio Presenter) Jamie West & The Banished Poets (Young Busker of the Year winner), John Kelly (Paralympic Opening Ceremony), Max Runham (Tommy, Ramps on the Moon), Charlie Toko (Once in a Lifetime, Boris Karloff Assistant Director, Young Vic) and Tom Wentworth (Bush Theatre Emerging Writers Group).
Jeni Draper, Artistic Director of Fingermith's said, "It's a great concept. Loved it. Brilliantly acted and directed by a properly diverse cast. Bravo team Amplified Theatre."
