‘Murder greed corruption, exploitation, adultery, treachery... all those things we hold near and dear to our hearts' ...so begins Chicago one of the most phenomenal musicals of our times.
The Twenties are roaring with hot jazz and cold-blooded killers. Hoodlums are making headlines and the press are hungry for more. So when chorus girl Roxie Hart shoots her lover she reckons it's her one chance for fame. Together with her rival in crime, Velma Kelly and silver-tongued lawyer Billy Flynn, getting away with murder has never been done with such style.
Winner of the Olivier Award for Oustanding Musical Production and now the longest-running Broadway musical in the West End, CHICAGO continues to razzle and dazzle audiences with its wit, glamour, style and sensational dance routines. It's truly a show to die for!
Emma Barton, best-known as ‘Honey Mitchell' in "EastEnders", stars as ‘Roxie Hart' in the West End production of "CHICAGO" at the Cambridge Theatre at Covent Garden's Seven Dials for 12 weeks from 26 April 2010.
