Photo Flash: West End's CURIOUS INCIDENT Celebrates Onesie Wednesday in Support of Autism

The cast of the National Theatre's multi-award winning production of The Curious Incident of Dog in the Night-Time at the Gielgud Theatre have worn onesies in support of Onesie Wednesday™ today (1 April), part of World Autism Awareness Week 2015, organised by the National Autistic Society to encourage everyone to wear their onesies or pyjamas to work in order to stand out for autism. Cast members that took part in the photo call on Bunny Christie's striking set for The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time at the Gielgud Theatre were Graham Butler who plays Christopher and Sarah Woodward who plays his teacher Siobhan, as well as cast members Gay Soper, Roxanne Palmer, Sam Bond and Viv Acheampong.

Graham Butler who plays Christopher in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time said: "Me and my fellow cast mates are delighted to show our support for World Autism Awareness Week's 'Onesie Wednesday'. I hope that London is in a sea of colour today with everyone going to work and school in their comfy onesies!"

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, adapted by Simon Stephens from Mark Haddon's best-selling novel, is directed by Marianne Elliott, who co-directed the National Theatre's record-breaking production of War Horse. The production is designed by Bunny Christie, with lighting byPaule Constable, video design by Finn Ross, movement by Scott Graham and Steven Hoggett for Frantic Assembly, music by Adrian Sutton and sound by Ian Dickinson for Autograph.

Christopher, fifteen years old, stands besides Mrs Shears' dead dog. It has been speared with a garden fork, it is seven minutes after midnight and Christopher is under suspicion. He records each fact in a book he is writing to solve the mystery of who murdered Wellington. He has an extraordinary brain, and is exceptional at maths while ill-equipped to interpret everyday life. He has never ventured alone beyond the end of his road, he detests being touched and distrusts strangers. But his detective work, forbidden by his father, takeshim on a frightening journey that upturns his world.
