Staveley Theatre Academy is a new musical theatre school based at The Hertford Theatre. The program is an amazing opportunity for budding performers who are interested in West End theatre and want to enter the profession as a 'triple threat'. Sierra Boggess flew over to the UK during a short break in her rehearsal period for Broadway's Phantom of the Opera to lead an amazing master class with the students. Scroll down for photos!

Class sizes are guaranteed at a maximum of 20 and a thorough audition process will ensure you are receiving the correct level of training from your class. Over the 10-week term classes will be taught by Principal Gemma O'Duffy, who has 10 years experience in the West End and was part of the Oscar winning film 'Les Miserables'.

Teaching alongside Gemma our expert teachers all have extensive West End experience, providing a high level of training each week. Students will also receive a minimum of three master classes from well known West End, TV and film actors, exploring various techniques and routines that cover all elements of musical theatre.

The Academy runs classes on a Friday evening and Sunday morning for students ages 7 upwards, all based at The Hertford Theatre.

Learn about some of the amazing tutors who have already worked with Staveley students:

Currently starring as Christine Daae in the Phantom of the Opera on Broadway, Sierra Boggess, the academy's patron, took time out of her rehearsal period to fly over to work with the students. It was an inspirational day.

Kerry Ellis came to the academy to talk to the students about her career and gave advice to the students on taking the next steps in theirs. She has had such a diverse, amazing career and we were honoured to have her run a master class.

Jon Robyns, original start of Avenue Q in the west end came to the academy to work on puppetry skills with the students. The Academy had puppets from Avenue Q to work with and the students picked up the skills very quickly due to Jon's expertise and teaching skills.
