Photo Flash: SIDE BY SIDE BY SONDHEIM Opens Tonight at Jack Studio Theatre

TV favourite Su Pollard, joined by Marianne Benedict (Women On The Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, The Wizard of OZ and We Will Rock You) and Grant McConvey (Sondheim Society Student Performer of the Year) just started rehearsing for the 2015 London revival of SIDE BY SIDE BY SONDHEIM, opening tonight 11 September and playing through 26 September 2015 at the Jack Studio Theatre. "It's just a joy to come into rehearsals, have a fantastic team and work ethic," Pollard said. "Everybody's really helping each other, we're very joyful, interested, excited and it makes a real change to do some challenging fun numbers."

Tony award-winning SIDE BY SIDE BY SONDHEIM features hits from legendary Broadway shows such as WEST SIDE STORY, GYPSY & COMPANY, taking you on a journey through their most classic songs including "Losing My Mind," "Being Alive" and "Send in the Clowns."

The show will be directed by Elliot Clay, the artistic director of The AC Group. Choreography and musical staging will be provided by Anthony Whiteman, Bye Bye Birdie (Rose & Crown Theatre); Spring Awakening (Lawrence Hall), In the Dead of Night (Landor), Bel Ami (World Premier - Charing Cross). As Assistant and Associate: Grand Hotel (Southwark Playhouse); The Producers (No1 UK Tour), Hairspray (Curve Leicester).

This production will be narrated by one of the show's original creators, Stuart Pedlar, who is also musical director. Stuart has worked with Stephen Sondheim for more than 40 years, and boasts credits such as the original London productions of A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC and SWEENEY TODD.
