These true events were the basis for Never the Sinner, Compulsion, Swoon and were the inspiration for Patrick Hamilton's Ropelater made into the famous film thriller by Alfred Hitchcock.
Following sell-out performances in 2014, Stephen Dolginoff's multi-award winning musical makes its return to the West End. Reuniting the creative team behind the smash hit Edinburgh Festival Fringe & London production, Thrill Me: The Leopold & Loeb Story is produced by the original UK producers CliMar Productions and Richard Williamson. After their phenomenal success in Edinburgh last year, the returning cast are Ellis Dackombe as Richard Loeb and Harry Downes as Nathan Leopold. Both actors are recent graduates from Arts Educational School in London.
Director Guy Retallack's work includes The Secret Rapture (Lyric); Drowning On Dry Land (Jermyn Street Theatre); Liberty (Shakespeare's Globe and National Tour); Faster (Filter Theatre at the Lyric Hammersmith and 59E59 Street Theater New York) and Future Me (London season and two national tours). Musical Direction is by David Keefe, design by James Turner, lighting by Richard Williamson. Voice-overs by Les Dennis, Patricia Quinn and Lee Mead.
Thrill Me is playing a week-long run at Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Other Palace theatre in London from 25 - 30 June.
