Photo Flash: AILVIN AILEY AMERICAN DANCE THEATER Return to London

The legendary Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater make their highly anticipated return to the UK with three exhilarating programmes of dance. Celebrating nearly 60 years of their Dance Theater, Ailey's trademark technical brilliance and passionate energy bring audiences everywhere to their feet.

These pictures show their Programme A: Exodus / Four Corners / After the Rain Pas de Deux / Revelations, which will be performed - Tue 6, Thu 8, Wed 14 and Sat 17 at 7.30pm, Sun 11 at 4pm.

The programme features Exodus, a highly-anticipated UK premiere that explores the idea of "exodus" as a necessary step toward enlightenment. This is followed by Ronald K. Brown's Four Corners, where 11 dancers depict spiritual seekers amid four angels standing on the corners of the earth, holding the four winds. Audiences are then treated to Christopher Wheeldon's After the Rain Pas de Deux, before the legendary Revelations - the most seen modern dance work in the world.
