PUTTIN' ON THE RITZ 2015 UK Tour to Feature Pixie Lott & STRICTLY COME DANCING Stars

The spectacular American production of PUTTIN' ON THE RITZ first toured the UK in 2014, and broke box office records when it was performed in front of a British audience. This year, a much longer tour is booked to tour theatres across the UK, beginning at the New Wimbledon Theatre on May 27 2105, with the added attraction of Strictly Come Dancing Stars.

For the opening two weeks of the tour, for the dates in Wimbledon and Newcastle, pop sensation and Strictly Come Dancing favourite, Pixie Lott, will star in the show, where she will sing and dance her way through some all time favourite songs. Pixie will be joined by her Strictly Come Dancing dance partner, Trent Whiddon along with fellow Strictly dance professionals Kristina Rihanoff and Robin Windsor.

For dates up to the end of June, Kristina and Robin will head the show, with other exciting names from Strictly Come Dancing, to be announced, together with further dates including some performances in the very glamorous Monte Carlo as part of The Summer Sporting Festival.

PUTTIN' ON THE RITZ takes you on a musical journey with wonderful music from three legendary composers, Cole Porter, George Gershwin and Irving Berlin. Songs in the show will include Cheek to Cheek, Alexander's Rag Time Band, Birth of the Blues, Swanee, Night and Day, I Got Rhythm, Easter Parade, and Puttin' On The Ritz.

will be recreated live on stage with a star-studded cast of singers and dancers who are set wow the audience with their slick harmonies, glamorous costumes and ballroom dancing skills .

Puttin' on the Ritz is produced by David King with music and lyrics by Irving Berlin, Cole Porter and George Gershwin.

Pixie Lott is an MTV Music award winning and Brit Award- nominated singer and songwriter. She rose to fame with the release of her debut single, Mama Do (Uh Oh, Uh Oh) and her second single, Boys and Girls, which both went straight to number one. Her debut album, entitled Turn It Up was awarded 'gold' status and is now a multi-platinum selling album! Pixie was recently awarded a further number one with the hit song All About Tonight. Pixie has written tracks for other artists, including Lisa Hordijk (the winner of the Dutch X Factor) and Alexandra Burke. Lott has also made a number of TV appearances including The Royal Variety Show, National TV awards, Graham Norton, Alan Carr: Chatty Man and Friday Night with Jonathan Ross. Most recently Pixie starred in BBC1's Strictly Come Dancing.

Trent Whiddon is an award-winning Australian dancer and choreographer. He was a lead dancer and company manager of

Burn the Floor for 13 years including the Broadway production. Has choreographed for, So You Think You Can Dance, Satisfaction on a Dance Floor and the E-trade commercial with Kevin Spacey. Most recently Trent has completed touring with the Strictly Live tour after a successful first season on Strictly Come Dancing partnering Pixie Lott.

Kristina Rihanoff is a world finalist professional ballroom dancer, instructor, choreographer and author. Rihanoff joined the professional cast of Strictly Come Dancing in 2008 and in 2014 Kristina was a finalist with her partner Simon Webb. After seven years, Kristina is the longest serving female professional on the show. Kristina was also the lead in the west end show, Burn The Floor together with Robin Windsor.

Robin Windsor is a British professional Latin and Ballroom dancer, best known for his appearances in the BBC television series Strictly Come Dancing. Robin is also known for starring in the successful West End production of Burn The Floor with his professional partner Kristina Rihanoff.
