The Daily Mail writes that Duncan Macmillan's play PEOPLE, PLACES AND THINGS will move from the National Theatre's Dorfman to Wyndham's Theatre this coming March. Performances will begin after Martin McDonagh's HANGMEN ends its run at the venue.
Denise Gough is transferring with the show; no word yet on whether the rest of the cast will follow her to the West End.
In the company at the National were Jacob James Beswick, Nari Blair-Mangat, Alistair Cope, Jacqui Dubois, Sally George, Kevin McMonagle, Nathaniel Martello-White, Barbara Marten and Laura Woodward.
The National's official description of PEOPLE PLACES AND THINGS reads: "Emma was having the time of her life. Now she's in rehab. Her first step is to admit that she has a problem. But the problem isn't with Emma, it's with everything else. She needs to tell the truth. But she's smart enough to know that there's no such thing. When intoxication feels like the only way to survive the modern world, how can she ever sober up? PEOPLE, PLACES AND THINGS is the latest collaboration between Headlong and the National, following the acclaimed Earthquakes in London and The Effect."
Gough has also appeared onstage in AHASVERUS at the RSC, the West End's JESUS HOPPED THE A TRAIN, SIX CHARACTERS IN SEARCH OF AN AUTHOR, AS YOU LIKE IT and BY THE BOG OF CATS and more.
