On Stage Seating on HOUSE OF COMMONS-STYLE Green Benches Now Available from £10

Take your place in the House of Commons as extra on stage seating have now just been released for James Graham's This House.

In keeping with the original design for the National Theatre, designer Rae Smith has reworked the Garrick Theatre to allow for on stage seating on "House of Commons-style" green benches. Get closer to the action in director Jeremy Herrin's production which captures the theatricality and mayhem of British politics. The on stage seats are priced from £10.

James Graham said "The way Jeremy Herrin and designer Rae Smith have managed to replicate the chaos and atmosphere of the Commons in This House is thrilling to me. And for some lucky audience members to get up and close to the action, right there on the green benches, is I hope an even more exciting way to experience this show."

James Graham's critically acclaimed political drama This House will transfer to the Garrick Theatre, following its run at Chichester's Minerva Theatre. Having originally played two sell-out seasons at the National Theatre, directed by Headlong Artistic Director Jeremy Herrin, This House opens for previews on 19 November, with a press night on Wednesday 30 November 2016.

Phil Daniels, Kevin Doyle, David Hounslow, Ed Hughes, Lauren O'Neil, Nathaniel Parker, Steffan Rhodri, Malcolm Sinclair and Sarah Woodward lead the cast which also includes Robert Gilbert, Christopher Godwin, Peter Landi, Matthew Pigeon, Giles Taylor, Tony Turner and Orlando Wells.

It's 1974. And Westminster is about to go to war with itself. Set in the engine rooms of the House of Commons, James Graham's This House dives deep into the secret world of the Whips who roll up their sleeves and go to often farcical lengths to influence an unruly chorus of MPs within the Mother of all Parliaments.

In an era of chaos, both hilarious and shocking, fist fights break out in the parliamentary bars, high-stake tricks and games are played, while sick or dying MPs are carried through the lobby to register their crucial votes as the government hangs by a thread.
