Having performed the role over 300 times in the highly successful UK national tour of the show, singer/actor Noel Sullivan is to join the original London production of the Queen/Ben Elton hit musical We Will Rock You in a reprise of his lead role of Galileo.
Sullivan joins the WWRY London cast next month taking over the role from the departing Alex Gaumond, and makes his first night appearance on the Dominion Theatre stage on Monday February 20.
Gaumond, who joined the London cast of We Will Rock You last August after his award-nominated appearance in Legally Blonde, leaves the show to focus on his recording career. Gaumond’s farewell performance will be Saturday February 18.
First coming to the attention of the public in 2001 as a member of the original TV talent search band, Hear’Say, former Welsh choir boy Sullivan has since gone on to carve himself a rising career in musical theatre.
