Following a sell out run at the 2012 Edinburgh Festival, Maurice's Jubilee will go on a national tour from this month, January 2013. This is Olivier Award winning Nichola McAuliffe's most recent play and she will reprise her role as Katie, alongside Olivier Award winning Julian Glover (Maurice) and SheiLA Reid* (Helena). Maurice's Jubilee is directed by multiple Fringe First winner Hannah Eidinow and has design by Christopher Richardson.

Maurice's Jubilee will tour nationally to Manchester Opera House (today, 24-26 January), Aylesbury Waterside Theatre (29 January - 2 February), Bath Theatre Royal (4-9 February), Woking New Victoria Theatre (12 - 16 February), Richmond Theatre (19-23 February), Brighton Theatre Royal (26 February - 2 March) Birmingham New Alexandra Theatre (5-9 March), Malvern (11 - 16 March), Bromley Churchill Theatre (26-30 March) and Cambridge Arts Theatre (2-6 April).

A Royal encounter. An enduring love. A bungalow in Penge. Maurice is determined to reach his 90th birthday, which is the day before the diamond jubilee. The Queen, having made him a promise 60 years before, is coming to tea. His wife is convinced he's never met the Queen. His nurse thinks it's time he did. Maurice's Jubilee is the hilariously funny and poignant take on timeless themes, the exploration of one man's enduring commitment to a dream, and an eternal love triangle, fallen on hard times.
