This November we have a sparkling display of musicals, comedy, drama and family fun. Sparks fly between two chess masters during the Cold War, a former evacuee revisits her past haunts, a witch rockets off on her broomstick and a familiar Gang investigate a haunted house. We're also getting ready for Christmas with a cracker of a musical to finish off the month.

Chess
Craig Revel Horwood is a busy man. Not only is he appearing weekly as a judge on Strictly Come Dancing but he's also found time to direct an exciting new production of Chess the Musical. A true perfectionist, he has cast only the best actor / musicians to create what is being described as the definitive version of this musical. Carrie's War
Former Calendar Girls Hannah Waterman and Brigit Forsyth lead a talented cast in this heart-warming trip down memory lane. When Carrie returns as an adult to the Welsh village she was evacuated to during WW2, she begins relive her adventures and secrets of the past. Interspersed with wartime radio broadcasts and enchanting Welsh choral songs this nostalgic show will transport you into the heart of the wartime Valleys.

Room on the Broom
Adored by children the world over, Julia Donaldson's much loved book follows in the (paw) steps of The Gruffalo by coming to life on stage. Your young theatregoers are invited to join the witch and a cat in finding their lost belongings. Expect a fun hour of singing songs, meeting new friends and hiding from hungry dragons! Cardiff Gang Show 2010
In 2008 they went on an adventure to the Land of Dreams. Now, the Scouts and Guides of Cardiff's Gang Show return to explore The Mansion of Mystery. Full of the latest songs from the hottest West End musicals, this show will have you singing along as you join the gang on the quest to find the master of the mansion.

Scrooge
The perfect pre-Christmas family treat, this classic musical will get the whole family in the festive spirit. Tommy Steele returns to the New to dazzle you as the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge in a show to make you feel like you've stepped straight into the pages of Dickens' famous book.
