Former Strictly contestant Nancy Dell'Olio is making her West End debut in Fashion Victim - The Musical! at The May Fair Theatre - a modern morality tale of two style-crossed lovers set in the cutting-edge world of fashion.

Dell'Olio plays Lucretia, a glamorous fashionista, and will star in the final four nights of the run on 8th, 10th, 11th and 12th April. Last year, she took her show Rainbows from Diamonds to the Edinburgh Fringe but this is her London stage debut.

She says, I take my sense of style very seriously but I am secure enough with my image to have a little fun with my public persona. This is not biting satire, this is a comic look at fashion, not a cruel hatchet on the fashion world. The spirit is positive and I like that. Performing is something I find very rewarding. It is an area I am very keen to explore. I am already in the public eye and am often interviewed, so this is in some ways an extension of my day-to-day life. The leading man Jonathan D Ellis has been in Les Mise?rables and Phantom of the Opera in the West End and the director Robert McWhir has won awards for musicals. This makes me feel confident they are a great team with which to make my London debut.

Writer Toby Rose says, I am thrilled Nancy is joining the cast of Fashion Victim - The Musical!. For me, Nancy embodies the theatre and drama of fashion and takes the red carpet by storm. Her larger than life personality is well suited to the show which is an Absolutely Fabulous style musical and approaches fashion with tongue firmly in cheek.

Fashion Victim - The Musical! returns bigger and better after its critically acclaimed two-week run at the Cinema Museum in Elephant & Castle.
