A selection of National Theatre Live's most celebrated and acclaimed broadcasts will be returning to cinemas in 2016. These events will feature Tony Award-winner and host of "The Late Late Show" James Corden, Academy Award-nominee Benedict Cumberbatch, "Elementary" star Jonny Lee Miller, Academy and Tony Award-winner Helen Mirren and more. The "NT LIVE Encore Series," presented by Fathom Events, BY Experience and National Theatre Live, brings fan favorites from the stage back to cinemas for one night each throughout the remainder of the year. The productions that will be screened exclusively in cinemas are "NT LIVE: One Man Two Guvnors" (June 21), "NT LIVE: The Audience" (July 19), "NT LIVE: Frankenstein," (October 25) and "NT LIVE: Hamlet" (November 15).
Benedict Cumberbatch said, "It feels truly thrilling to be opening up our theatre production of Hamlet to the wider reach of a National Theatre Live audience. The idea that people who can't get to the theatre, for whatever reason, can join us for one night in cinemas around the country - and indeed the world - is extraordinary. Each screening will doubtless have its own atmosphere, but wherever you're watching, thanks to the brilliance of the National Theatre Live team, you'll be right at the heart of the action, in the best seat in the house."
Tickets for the "NT LIVE Encore Series" can be purchased online by visiting www.FathomEvents.com or at participating theater box offices. Fans throughout the U.S. will be able to enjoy the event in more than 240 movie theaters through Fathom's Digital Broadcast Network. Fired from his skiffle band, Francis Henshall becomes minder to Roscoe Crabbe, a small time East End hood, now in Brighton to collect £6,000 from his fiancée's dad. But Roscoe is really his sister Rachel posing as her own dead brother, who's been killed by her boyfriend Stanley Stubbers. Holed up at The Cricketers' Arms, the permanently ravenous Francis spots the chance of an extra meal ticket and takes a second job with one Stanley Stubbers, who is hiding from the police and waiting to be re-united with Rachel. To prevent discovery, Francis must keep his two guvnors apart. Simple.
Featuring a Tony Award-winning performance from host of the "The Late Late Show," James Corden, the uproarious "One Man, Two Guvnors" was a runaway hit both in London's West End and on Broadway.
NT LIVE: The Audience - Tuesday, July 19 at 7:00 p.m. local time (original Fathom broadcast on June 25, 2015)
For sixty years, Queen Elizabeth II has met with each of her twelve Prime Ministers in a private weekly meeting. This meeting is known as The Audience. No one knows what they discuss, not even their spouses. From the old warrior Winston Churchill, to the Iron Lady Margaret Thatcher; Tony Blair right up to today's meetings with the current incumbent David Cameron, the Queen advises her Prime Ministers on all matters both public and personal. Through these private audiences, we see glimpses of the woman behind the crown and witness the moments that shaped a monarch.
"The Audience" was presented in the West End by Matthew Byam Shaw for Playful Productions, Robert FOX and Andy Harries. Winner of three TONY AWARDS and two Olivier Awards, National Theatre Live's smash-hit broadcast of the original West End production of "The Audience" - featuring Helen Mirren's multi-award-winning performance as Queen Elizabeth II - returns to cinemas in celebration of the monarch's 90th birthday. Written by Peter Morgan ("The Queen") and directed by two-time Tony Award-winner and Academy Award-nominated director Stephen Daldry ("Billy Elliot," "The Hours"), this special encore screening includes an exclusive Q&A with Helen Mirren and director Stephen Daldry.
NT LIVE: Frankenstein - Tuesday, October 25 at 7:00 p.m. local time (original Fathom broadcast on June 6, 2012)
Childlike in his innocence, but grotesque in form, Frankenstein's bewildered Creature is cast out into a hostile universe by his horror-struck maker. Meeting with cruelty wherever he goes, the friendless Creature, increasingly desperate and vengeful, determines to track down his creator and strike a terrifying deal. Urgent concerns of scientific responsibility, parental neglect, cognitive development and the nature of good and evil are embedded within this thrilling and deeply disturbing classic gothic tale.
Directed by Academy Award-winner Danny Boyle ("Trainspotting," "Slumdog Millionaire," "Steve Jobs"), this thrilling production features Olivier Award winning performances from Benedict Cumberbatch ("BBC's Sherlock," "The Imitation Game") as the Creature and Jonny Lee Miller (CBS's "Elementary," "Trainspotting") as Victor Frankenstein. The production was a sell-out hit at the National Theatre in 2011, and the broadcast has since become an international sensation, experienced by over half a million people in cinemas around the world.

Directed by Lyndsey Turner ("Posh," "Chimerica") and produced by Sonia Friedman Productions, the original 2015 broadcast was experienced by over half a million people worldwide.
