Mischief Theatre To Tour Mischief Movie Night Starring The Original Cast Of THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG

Mischief Theatre, the multi award-winning company behind the global smash hit comedy The Play That Goes Wrong, today announces a UK tour of Mischief Movie Night, the improvised movie live on stage. Direct from the West End and nominated for the 2018 Olivier Award for 'Best New Comedy', Mischief Movie Night opens at Oxford Playhouse on Wednesday 6 June, visiting a further six venues nationwide until 22 July 2018. Starring the original cast and creators of West End smash hits, The Play That Goes Wrong, Peter Pan Goes Wrong and The Comedy About a Bank Robbery, and whose television fame on prime time BBC One includes A Christmas Carol Goes Wrong and Peter Pan Goes Wrong, Mischief Movie Night will be performed on tour by: Bryony Corrigan, Josh Elliott, Dave Hearn, Harry Kershaw, Henry Lewis, Ellie Morris, Charlie Russell, Jonathan Sayer and Henry Shields.

Mischief Movie Night invites the audience to direct the action: you suggest a genre, location and title and a movie is brought to life on stage, complete with rewinds, fast forwards, directors cuts and a live score. Starring them, directed by you, Mischief Movie Night is a guaranteed comedy blockbuster!

Mischief Theatre was founded in 2008 by a group of graduates of The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) and began as an improvised comedy group. Mischief Theatre performs across the UK and internationally with improvised and original scripted work. Mischief Theatre has two shows playing concurrently in the West End: the Olivier and Tony award-winning production of The Play That Goes Wrong is at the Duchess Theatre, London and on Broadway; and the other production The Comedy About A Bank Robbery is currently at the Criterion Theatre, London. the company is led by Artistic Director Henry Lewis and Company Director Jonathan Sayer.
