The Park Theatre has announced the casting of Matthew Kelly and Simon Greenall in Snapdragon Productions' forthcoming production of Toast by Richard Bean. Snapdragon previously produced the successful Thark with Clive Francis and The Dead Wait.

Directed by Eleanor Rhode, the brilliantly observed, moving and funny play comes from the writer of the international smash hit One Man, Two Guv'nors.

Another Sunday night shift. The smell of bread baking. The industrial thump, thump, thump of the machines that never stop. The ovens are cranked up to full blast, the factory is humming, and everyone wants to be somewhere else.

But this shift is going to be different. Because when a crisis hits the factory, the men have more to lose than just their wages...

Richard Bean's first major play is directed by Rhode, whose credits include the multi-award nominated production of Thark at Park Theatre, and the Time Out Critics' Choice productions of The Drawer Boy and Generous.

Also in the creative team are Set Designer James Turner, Lighting Designer Mike Robertson, Sound Designer Max Pappenheim and Costume Designer Holly Rose Henshaw.
