Little Angel Theatre Presents JUNK Image

Little Angel Theatre is delighted to present Junk, a brand new, immersive theatre adventure. Every day, under our very eyes, in rubbish bins and recycling boxes across the country, something strange and exciting is happening.

Junk brings your milk bottles, newspapers and egg boxes to life, sharing a story through the hidden, everyday magic we can so easily overlook. Our Studios will be transformed into a recycling plant, where children and their families will embark on a tour of the centre, following the journey of Bertie, the plastic bottle. Led by Scoop, the junk lady, they will discover what happens to Bertie, and help play out his story. Will he eventually be recycled? Or will he end up in the dreaded landfill?

A timely show that will inspire and motivate young audiences to reduce, reuse and recycle!

Little Angel Theatre is a home for puppetry. Since its doors first opened in 1961 the theatre has been dedicated to creating and sharing inspiring stories. Puppetry is at the heart of this innovative theatre, from igniting the imaginations of the youngest minds to equipping tomorrow's puppeteers with the tools they need to succeed. As well as an internationally recognised theatre with productions touring throughout the UK and across the globe, Little Angel Theatre also has its roots in Islington, and works with its local, diverse community to break down barriers to arts engagement so all can benefit and enjoy this remarkable art form.
