The critically acclaimed and Best New Musical of 2014, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, welcomes West End musical theatre legends Bonnie Langford (Spamalot, Chicago, Cats, Dr Who, Just William, Bugsy Malone) and Gary Wilmot (The Pajama Game, Chicago, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Me and My Girl) will be waltzing their way into the show at The Savoy Theatre from tonight 16 September 2014.

Gary Wilmot will be playing Andre Thibault, Beaumont-Sur-Mer's Chief of Police, the sidekick and partner in crime to theOlivier, Tony and BAFTA award winning Robert Lindsay - the French Riviera's chief conman, Lawrence Jameson.

Gary's musical theatre stardom actually began following in Robert Lindsay's shoes, playing the role of Bill Snibson to critical acclaim in the hit musical production of Me and My Girl at the Adelphi Theatre. Robert, who was in the original cast, won an Olivier and Tony Award for the role, playing opposite Emma Thompson, and it became one of the most successful musicals in the West End and on Broadway.

Bonnie Langford will be swapping dancing shoes with Samantha Bond to play Muriel Eubanks, a glamorous divorcee looking for love on the French Riviera.

They join Rufus Hound, the new conman on the block, Freddy Benson, and Katherine Kingsley as Christine Colgate, in this laugh out loud comedy about two conmen competing for the riches and the heart of a young impressionable heiress.

Our brilliant cast have between them won five Olivier Awards, with a further three Olivier nominations, a Tony Award, a BAFTA award and a further Tony nomination!

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels has been running since February 2014. The show has been seen by over 200, 000 audience members who have between them quaffed 9,660 glasses of champagne at the Savoy Theatre and the Savoy Hotel's Doormen have commented on the laughter from the theatre hitting the doors of the hotel on a nightly basis! Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is the best new musical of 2014.

Bonnie Langford's extensive West End roles began at the age of seven with Gone with the Wind at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane. The following year she played 'Baby June' in Gypsy opposite Angela Lansbury at the Piccadilly Theatre which also went on a national tour, before a run on Broadway (for which she was nominated for a Drama Desk Award). She has starred in many smash hit musicals including Cats at the New London Theatre (original London cast); 'Roxie Hart' in Chicago at the Adelphi Theatre/Cambridge Theatre and on Broadway/North American national tour,The Pirates Of Penzance at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane and London Palladium; Peter Pan - The Musical (playing the title role) at the Aldwych Theatre; Me And My Girl at the Adelphi Theatre; and her much acclaimed portrayal of 'Charity' in Sweet Charity at the Victoria Palace Theatre. Further stage credits include playing The Lady Of The Lake in Spamalot at the Playhouse Theatre, Roz Keith in 9 to 5, The Musical on UK tour and on Broadway she starred in her own critically acclaimed cabaret show as part of the Brits Off Broadway season at 59E59 Theatres. She has toured the UK in Oklahoma!; Charlie Girl; 42nd Street and as 'Miss Adelaide' in Guys and Dolls(Donmar Warehouse Theatre Production) and Fosse.

Bonnie appeared in the hit musical film Bugsy Malone and many TV series including Just William, The Lena and Bonnie Show, the award-winning Hot Shoe Show, Hotel Babylon, Marple, The Catherine Tate Show, The Spa and as the 22nd assistant to BBC TV's Doctor Who. She has been the subject of ITV's This Is Your Life. In 2006, she learned to ice skate in front of millions on the hit show Dancing on Ice, skating her way to the final. Bonnie returned to the ice for the special Champion of Champions, before taking part in Dancing on Ice - The Live Tour, in both 2007 and 2008. Earlier this year she returned for the final series ofDancing On Ice.

On television Gary was well known for presenting hit shows including the BBC's Showstoppers, originally a one off series, which proved so popular it extended to a further six series and even went on a sell out national tour. He was also a brilliant children's TV presenter for shows including Copycats, So You Want to be Top, Punchlines, Cue Gary and Saturday Gang.

Directed and choreographed by Tony Award winning Jerry Mitchell (Kinky Boots - currently Broadway's biggest Tony Award winning hit and Legally Blonde) in his debut production for Jerry Mitchell Productions, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels has music and lyrics by Drama Desk Award winner David Yazbek (Late Night with David Letterman, The Full Monty) and book by the Golden Globe and Emmy-Award winning Jeffrey Lane (Mad About You).

This musical is based on the legendary 1988 film starring Michael Caine and Steve Martin, directed by Frank Oz. It is the UK premiere of this new production, which has been reconceived and reimagined for the UK stage.

The rest of the cast includes: Lizzy Connolly as Jolene, Gavin Alex, Darren Bennett, Niamh Bracken, Lisa Bridge, Darren Carnall, Andy Conaghan, Phoebe Coupe, Claire Doyle, Alice Fearn, Selina Hamilton, Ian Knauer, Lisa Mathieson, Zak Nemorin, Genevieve Nicole, Javier Santos, Todd Talbot, Dominic Tribuzio, Jon Tsouras and Zara Warren.

Prepare to be transported to the luxurious lap of the French Riviera where the decadent world of sophisticated conman Lawrence Jameson is set to come crashing down with the arrival of larger-than-life Freddy Benson - a conman of an entirely different order.

Soon realising the town ain't big enough for the both of them, the two find themselves going head to head in the con of their lives, pulling out all of the stops in a bid for the affections of millionaire soap heiress Christine Colgate. Little do they know what they've let themselves in for.
