Zombie Prom is a musical comedy by John Depmsey and Dana P. Rowe the amazing creative team behind the musical "The Witches Of Eastwick". The show premiered Off-Broadway in 1996 and in 2006 an award winning short-film was made of the show featuring Ru-Paul.

Zombie Prom tells the story of Toffee and Jonny, your typical 1950's American teen romance. After pledging their love to each other Toffee's parents (and Head Teacher Miss Strict) ban her from seeing Jonny because he's a rebel (he has defiled his "good Christian name" by removing the "h"). Jonny is devastated, committing suicide by throwing himself into the near-by power plant. However, love is not that easy to kill off and Jonny returns from the dead to graduate and go to the prom, an idea not liked by Miss Strict. The rest of the show sees Miss Strict try and stop Jonny from returning to school, a newpaper reporter fight for Jonny's case, and Toffee try and deal with her feelings for her newly-dead-boyfriend. The show is all written in 50's bubblegum/Grease style and has the upbeat feeling of Hairspray.

Directed by Ian McFarlane, Choreography by Grace Harrington, and Musical Direction by James Lark.
