Kerry Ellis, Scott Alan & More Set for London Festival of Cabaret This Year

The third LONDON FESTIVAL OF CABARET (LFoC) runs from April 28-May 11 and in addition to a spectacular list of artists, three prestigious new venues have joined the roster.

The Delfont Room, The Sam Wanamaker Theatre at Shakespeare¹s Globe and Wilton's Music Hall join The Crazy Coqs, The Pheasantry, St. James Studio and Jermyn Street Theatre in offering a wonderful choice of unique cabaret and musical theatre shows during the festival.

Amongst the many superlative artists performing at the festival are Anne Reid and Stefan Bednarczyk with their sell-out show Just In Time (Crazy Coqs April 28-May 2), from the USA the Grammy ­winning singer Jack Jones with his show Coming Home, (Pheasantry April 28-May 3), award-winning actress and singer Kerry Ellis (Delfont Room May 7) and the ever-popular singer Anita Harris (Pheasantry May 10).

In the first collaboration between Shakespeare¹s Globe and the London Festival of Cabaret, double Olivier Award-winning actress and singer Janie Dee will present her show Janie Dee & Friends (May 10) with special guests.

At the St.James Studio, composer Scott Alan and West End Star Cynthia Erivo team up once again for their sell-out show Home Again (May 4-6). Scott will also be performing at the St. James Theatre, a special one off night with his show Everything Worth Holding On To (May 3), whilst at The Jermyn Street Theatre, Caroline Sheen will be presenting Sondheim & So Forth (May 3).

There will also be the much loved cabaret stalwarts ­ Barb Jungr at Crazy Coqs with her show No Regrets, (May 3) and the ex Rat Pack singer Gary Williams and Harry The Piano with their popular Sinatra Jukebox (May 5-9). Liz Robertson¹s MasterClass at St James Theatre (May 11) where she will include songs by Irving Berlin celebrating his birthday and the highly successful Open Mic night at Crazy Coqs, which takes place every Thursday during the LFoC festival.

Adding lots of kitsch glamour is Nicky Haslam with his Spring Will Be A Little Late This Year show at St. James Studio (April 28 & 30), whilst chanteuse Xara Vaughan will be lighting up Wiltons Music Hall (May 7)

The LONDON FESTIVAL CABARET is supported by the Noel Coward Foundation, The Irving Berlin Music Company, The Estate of P.G. Wodehouse, Robert J. Sherman, CEO MusicWorld (UK) Ltd, Stagescripts, Radisson Blu, HMF Solutions, NU NU distribution Ltd, Brodmann Acoustics and Quadral.

Patrons include Don Black OBE, Douglas Hodge, Maria Friedman, Michael Feinstein, Adam Guettel, Barb Jungr, Jason Robert Brown and Nicky Gayner.
